Abe Garver, a FOCUS Principal, has over twenty years of broad industry experience in acquisitions and divestitures, business valuation, corporate accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, business development and executive compensation and benefits for Fortune 1000 and large private companies.

Utilizing a unique combination of M&A, financing and business development experience, he has acted as a principal on numerous transactions.

Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Garver was a Vice President at Marsh & McLennan.  At Marsh, Mr. Garver was responsible for consulting on the financing of $3.5 billion dollars of nonqualified benefit and other post employment liabilities, and worked with the Company’s Private Equity M&A (PEMA) business.

Prior to Marsh, Mr. Garver was an investment banker, and senior business valuation consultant with Merrill Lynch & Co., and Ernst & Young LLP, respectively.

Mr. Garver holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and a Masters in Finance, from the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School.

In addition to professional pursuits, Mr. Garver is Governor Emeritus of the University of Southern California Alumni Association.  He is also a member of The University Club of New York.
