We are greatly saddened by the loss of our friend and colleague, Craig Custer, who passed away on November 26, 2009 of a heart attack at the age of 50.  Craig joined FOCUS LLC in early 2009 as a managing director in Richmond Virginia, assigned to our Washington, DC office.  Craig’s more than 20 years of investment banking experience advising management teams and their boards was a tremendous asset to our firm.  Craig led transactions for clients ranging from small entrepreneurial firms to Fortune 500 companies and our firm benefited from his experience and judgment.  Craig’s time with our firm was far too brief, and we all sincerely regret his passing.

Craig was a trusted colleague and friend to many people, known among his peers for his loyalty, tenacity and his great sense of humor.  All of us at FOCUS will miss his enthusiasm and spirit. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with such a special person.
